Though I don't know what I want to do in college or even what skills I have that can help me do what I love while helping others, I want to use my skills and my joy of being around other people to help create a better world for others around me. Such as helping with environmental problems. with people like Environmental Sustainability Student Coalition. According to BRIAN KENNEDY AND LEC TYSON This report states There is a need to help with climate change and better our planet “Large shares express frustration with the partisan nature of climate debate. Eight-in-ten say they’ve felt frustrated by the level of political disagreement when they’ve seen news and information about climate change.” The Student Sustainability Coalition collaborates with the Office of Sustainability and other sustainability-related clubs/organizations in assisting and creating programming that provides unity among the affiliated student organizations in order to approach sustainability at Cal Poly Pomona with a holistic perspective. The Student Sustainability Coalition serves as a multidisciplinary hub for clubs and organizations that address sustainability, so that general body members become aware of all the different opportunities to get involved with sustainability on campus. We need more groups like them and I want to be apart of it.
